EPISODE RELEASE: Holding the Inner Flame: On Creativity
with Joanne Foster and Patrice Vecchione
In a time of uncertainly, instability, and rapid change, many people turn to their creative pursuits for comfort or inspiration. Whether creativity serves as an escape or a way to dive deeper, we all have the ability to be creative and benefit from practicing it. In this interview with Dr. Joanne Foster, who researches and writes about creativity in education, and Patrice Vecchione, who teaches and practices creativity in her writing and visual art, we address creativity head-on: What is it? What inspires it? What hobbles it? What can we use it for?
Joanne and Patrice, interviewed separately, address the same questions from their perspectives as researcher, teacher, writer, artist, child, adult, and older adult. Listen in and spark your creativity!
